Don't let the name of our boat fool you ... NEMO is not scared of any shark. Whether you are an adrenaline junkie, fighting the urge to dive outside the cage or just ticking down your bucket-list – we will see that you have the most exciting, adrenaline boosted adventure of your life.

What to expect on the dive day ...

Our guests arrive at least one-hour before launch departure (this is usually at 07:00 in the summer or 08:00 during winter months). You will be required to complete the necessary indemnity forms followed by breakfast. This is followed by a safety briefing with our tour guide after which our boat, Nemo departs from the harbour to look for the sharks on a 20 minute boat trip to Shark Alley (in Winter) or a 10-15 minute trip to the alternative viewing spot (in Summer) where most of the sharks usually hang out.

Nemo, is manned by the Skipper and Dive Master, a tour guide, a shark handler and a videographer.

Nemo is equipped with sufficient diving equipment to accommodate all our guests on their cage dive and the dive master ensures that everyone is safe and comfortable with the experience. Nemo is also equipped with all the necessary safety gear as well as a life-boat large enough to accommodate all the guests should it become necessary

Snacks including chips, fruit, bread-rolls and water are available for the duration of the trip.

Divers can spend at least 20 minutes in the cage, unless shark sightings are really meagre, when time in the cage will be limited to give everyone an opportunity to see the sharks from the cage.

Nemo can only accommodate 20 people per trip, an advantage in the reduction of waiting time before and after dives.

When everyone is satisfied with their viewing and dives, Nemo returns to the harbour and Crew House for lunch and a viewing of the video taking during the trip. This is also the time to purchase your copy before your departure.

Despite our 99.99% success rate, these are wild animals and sightings cannot be guaranteed. However in the unlikely event that we do not find sharks, we will offer you a free trip!
