Located in Northmead, Vanilla Bean can be described as one of the rare gems of Benoni. Created out of a passion for food and for the love of good company, we offer so much more than the average coffee shop experience. What we offer is a unique concept that combines food, indulgence and conversation to create an inviting atmosphere that everyone can enjoy. As so much more than a coffee shop, we specialise in all things decadent and delicious (and irresistibly tempting), creating culinary delights that are as much a treat for eyes as they are for the taste buds. Cakes, cupcakes, cookies and other sweet goodies make up our confectionery collection, available to buy at our shop or made to order for your special occasion.

Owner and food lover, Karyn Kirkup came up with the idea for Vanilla Bean in February 2013 with the view of bringing to life her deep passion for engaging with people to deliver a gastronomic experience that satisfies their every need. With over 20 years’ experience in the food industry, Karyn’s expansive career has ranged from owning and operating fast food outlets, coffee shops, a pizzeria, catering businesses and most recently, a bespoke cake and cookie baking business.
