Van Schaik Bookstore - Head Office, Cape Town

Van schaik capetown in long street very unprofessional.....and do not have a clue on how to assist customers.....I was very annoyed with their service and yet while I was waiting and they could see my irritation while helping me they were laughing and indirectly making jokes about.... and finding it funny,I live in parklands but i will instead go to the branch in parow because their service is better....

I have dealt with Van Schaiks since July 1959 & over 5 decades+ been extremely satisfied with their service. My latest experience with Mmathabo Nthane at the call centre was outstanding. I was dealt with politely, efficiently and promptly. She gave attention to detail and her communication with me until the books were in the hands of the of the person I had bought them for, showed that customer service and satisfaction was her main priority. What an asset to Van Schaiks! Well done young lady, your outstanding example needs to be copied by all who deal with the public. So 50+ years down the line , I will definitely continue dealing with Van Schaiks, especially when I get 5 Star service like I had! kind Regards Graeme Gold
