Urban Cinematography is a South African, Durban-based media production company with over a decade of experience in providing premium videography and photography services. While directing and producing corporate media projects countrywide, Urban Cinematography also provides crew members to the film and media industry in the form of cameramen, videographers, photographers, drone pilots and art department crew.

James Engelbrecht is the founder and driving force behind this creative cinematic collective. With years of industry experience and a strong portfolio of work behind him, his leadership and ability to adapt quickly have proved invaluable in the fast evolving advertising, media & technology sectors.
