1974UIC was established and operated as Ultimate Instrument Contractors (Pty) Ltd predominantly providing a service of Instrumentation Construction and Maintenance in the Petrochemical Industry.<br/>1982UIC grew significantly in the construction industry and peaked in its construction services at this time, undertaking major projects. UIC had also moved into the Paper and Mining Industries. UIC registered as an Electrical Contractor and could offer a full E & I Construction Service.<br/>1985UIC expanded their services to include field engineering and its first two AutoCAD stations were purchased, offering a complete professional engineering service.<br/>1989UIC had grown in its engineering division and were able to offer a complete Turnkey solution of Control, Instrumentation, and Electrical Projects.
