Description
Since its inception in 1987 as a partnership between Christo Smit and Richard Daggitt, (then known as Daggitt Smit & Associates, now Triton Naval Architects cc), the company has evolved, yet largely remained the same, in retaining a number of the same core people for close on 16 years.
Company description
During this time it has become a household name in Cape Town, the greater South Africa, and Namibia for Ship Design, Ship Stability, Powering, Mooring and Motion Studies, Structural Design and Analysis, Salvage Support, and all other aspects of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.
While Richard left in 1993, Barry Kingwill joined as a partner in 1997.
