This charming Victorian villa was built in 1881 and restored in authentic period detail preserving the elegance of a bygone era, yet with all the facilities of a modern guesthouse. Since its inception in 2004, Tintagel has earned a fine reputation for personalised hospitality, catering for discerning holidaymakers and corporate guests alike.
Company description
The villa offers elegant accommodation in 6 en-suite double rooms with king, queen size or twin beds. We provide the very best mattresses, bed linen and elegant yet simple furnishings. Complimentary Cape Jerepico in glass decanters complete our picture. Facilities in the rooms include:Enjoy breakfast from 08h00 to 10h00 in the dining room or in the courtyard. Earlier breakfast can also be arranged. We customise breakfast to individual tastes and take dietary requirements of guests in consideration. The Villa has full electronic security, and off street parking is available in the forecourt. We gladly make car hire and airport transfer arrangements for our guests. Cape Point tours, Robben Island trips, wine land excursions and township daytrips are arranged on request. An upmarket shopping mall in Kloof Street is only 100m from the guesthouse and incorporates a laundrette, dry cleaner, auto bank, hairdresser, health store, pharmacy, cafes, cinema and post office.

Tintagel is situated in the heart of fashionable Kloof Street precinct of historic Gardens area. There is a variety of popular restaurants within walking distance as well as galleries, museums and local craft shops. Walk through the beautiful 17th century oak lined Government Avenue and Company Gardens or venture down bohemian Long Street with its antique bookshops, trendy bistros and vibrant night life. The V&A Waterfront, Convention Centre, Cableway and local beaches are all within a 4km radius from Tintagel. Tintagel is ideal for the guest seeking a secure, conveniently located and well appointed pied-a-terre from which to explore the city and the Peninsula.
