TUHF is a development finance organisation that provides short and medium-term loans for residential property purchase as well as for property improvement, in South Africa’s inner city areas.

Loans are offered to housing entrepreneurs and enterprises wishing to build a business based on the provision of rental housing. TUHF will consider loans for any building that shows profitable returns, good building management (in the form of maintenance and rental collection) and pride in ownership.
TUHF has a variety of different products available within the bounds of construction (described as conversion from office blocks to residential blocks), purchase, refurbishment (described as bringing the building back to “scratch”) and re-finance.
