The Gents Club, Johannesburg

Following a trip to New York, whilst sitting at a restaurant in Greenpoint, Cape Town, two very hungover brothers came up with the vision of a site that brought high-quality grooming products to the everyday South African guy, which wouldn’t break the bank. We were tired of having to pay excessive amounts of money for products which were, at their best, average. Not only were they pricey and the labels confusing, but they forced us to navigate busy malls, stand in long shopping queues and most frustratingly waste our valuable time.

We were inspired to create a platform which would provide guys with a range of handpicked products that would enable all gentlemen to look and feel great at the click of a button. We wanted it to be a journey about male grooming to ensure you only perform at your peak. We envisioned a single, user-friendly site which would cater to guys from all walks of life. We aimed to educate, employ and empower our members by bringing them an online store that provides an end to end solution.

Almost two years of research went into coming up with ingredients and finding suppliers who had similar visions and who were able to create a range of exclusive products which we could proudly present to our fellow South Africans.

And so, The Gents Club was born.
