The fish was caught by ski boats only; The supply of fish ( fresh and frozen ) from this small deli to the catering industry increased tremendously, so a wholesale warehouse was established 17 years ago; More than just distribution occurs from the warehouse, a production factory also operates from here. Furthermore, we were approached by leading Supermarkets to portion and pack fish and seafood products which subsequently lead to us processing many other items for various other organisations, making Fisherman’s Deli the only seafood processing company in Johannesburg.
The Fisherman’s Deli is privately owned, employs +/- 140 people and boasts a growth turnover of approximately 30% p.a., mainly due to our personalized service. Our goal is to provide value to our clients and to be the preferred supplier of high quality products consistently and professional service.
