Surrounded by eight vineyards, friendly pubs, and superb restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets, golf courses and the magnificent Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens. With the M3 highway only three kilometres away you are minutes from the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Table Mountain, Robben Island, The International Convention Centre both Greenpoint and Newlands stadia or the spectacular beaches of the Indian and Atlantic Ocean seaboards with their quaint and quirky villages. We can organise surfing lessons in Muizenburg. Or for the wild at heart why not try a hike on the many trails in the Table Mountain National Park or Tokai forests. Take a trip to the beautifully rugged Cape point Nature Reserve or Boulders Beach to see the penguins. For the brave of heart we can even organise a Shark diving trip, Whale watching or a walk with wild baboon troupes. Our newly landscaped gardens, which are over looked by the majestic Constantiaberg Mountain, border an environmental "green belt", called the Grootboschkloof River Walk, which will ensure your stay will be quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Your hosts during your stay at Dongola House, Mike and Sally Oughtibridge along with Peter Eckstein, reside at the premises and are there to make your stay that extra bit special whether it be with advice as to which restaurants to dine at, where to taste the fruit of the vine, car hire, assistance with transport to and from the airport, organising an "adventure" or simply just to have a chat. In line with South African legislation, Dongola House is a non-smoking residence, smoking is only allowed outside the main house and rooms.
