Company description
A National Monument of over 100 years old, The Coach House has undergone extensive renovations, without losing any of its old charm. Perfectly situated in one of the quieter streets in Franschhoek just a stroll away from shops, galleries, award winning restaurants and only 50 metres from the Huguenot Monument and Museum.
Foreign language description
Because Franschhoek is so centrally located, you can enjoy a number of activities in Franschhoek and surrounding areas. A two hour drive takes you all the way to Hermanus for a day trip where you can whale watch and enjoy the beach. There are three championship golf courses in easy access; Pearl Valley, (hosts the South African Open), Boschenmeer and De Zalze. For the romantic a twenty minute drive takes you to Boschendal, where you can enjoy a lovely picnic or if you choose to go further, Kirstenbosch hosts some lovely summer concerts where you can bring your own picnic basket, wine and blanket and lay in the beautiful gardens or dance to the music. We have Theewaterskloof half an hour away, where you can enjoy water sports, or for the very adventurers, you can try paragliding. We also host a number of festivals like the Bastille Festival and the Champagne Festival, where strangers come together and leave as friends.
