The Beauty Specialist Training Centre, Richards Bay

We constantly strive to ensure that our courses are of a high standard and offer excellent value, providing an ideal basis for those wishing to further an interest in beauty, holistic and complementary medicine or to begin practicing professionally. The Beauty Specialist Training Centre is fully accredited as a Centre of Excellence with the Professional Accreditation Board (PAB.R383). Individual courses are trusted worldwide and accredited by professional bodies (ITEC and SAAHSP). Carol Cremer, sole owner of the Beauty Specialist Training Centre Durban North qualified in the UK in 1965. Since arriving in S.A. in 1974 until today she has been involved with the Education Branch of SAAHSP and the involvement at Board level. She has also held the post of KwaZulu Natal Branch chair on numerous occasions and has been Vice president for SA three times. She has been honoured as the longest standing member of council in SA, twice. Carol helped steer the institute in the direction it stands today especially for Professionalism and Education. In 1987 she was awarded Fellow Membership from SAAHSP for all her contributions over the years. She opened The Beauty Specialist Training Centre in 1994/95 with a partner as the First Modular Beauty Training College in SA. She has never looked back, opening franchises in Empangeni, Gilllitts, Pmburg and Ballito in the following years. All Colleges will attain accreditation with ITEC, SAAHSP and PAB. The Colleges collectively are a force to be reckoned with, and with par time, day and evening course that are both locally and internationally recognized we therefore fill the niche for all women who have a passion to train in the Beauty industry. In 1996 she was made President of the Umhlanga Woman Achievers Association, a group whose mission statement is “Growing through sharing and communication.” In 2004 she was awarded by them “Achiever of the Year” status and remains today once again UWA President.
