Description
Tent Pro's roots go back to the late 1980's with the reconditioning of ex South African Army canvas tents. These tents made from heavy duty "rip-block" canvas are well known and trusted for their strength and durability. We developed a production process to fully recondition the tents that we buy directly from army auctions.
Company description
To date Tent Pro manufactures new 5x5m and 5x10m tents from heavy duty rip-block canvas. With good stocks of new and reconditioned canvas tents we are well positioned in the Southern African market to supply heavy duty canvas tents and a range of general army surplus items to the public sector.
We currently supply canvas tents and surplus items to customers from the mining, agricultural, building, geological and service industries, as well as to Disaster Relief Agencies and for temporary housing.
Tent Pro is situated outside Pretoria off the R21 to Kempton Park in the Irene Rietvlei Dam area.
Tent Pro delivers free of charge on loads of up to 500 kg in the Pretoria – Johannesburg area.
Nationally, at the customers request we will courier their orders, using various couriers. Customers should note that couriers use subcontractors to deliver to outlying or small towns and this can increase the costs considerably.
For Namibia, Botswana and other African countries, customers make their own arrangements. We will deliver to depots free of charge.
Courier costs are not included in our prices.

Tent Pro het reeds in die laat 1980's begin met die herstel van seildoektente van die voormalige Suid-Afrikaanse Weermag. Hierdie tente, gemaak van swaardoelige "rip-block" seildoek, is welbekend vir hul duursaamheid. Ons het 'n produksiesproses ontwikkel om die tente wat ons direk van weermagveilings koop, volledig te herstel.
Tent Pro vervaardig nou ook nuwe 5x5m en 5x10m tente van swaardoelige "rip-block" seildoek. Ons is reeds goed gevestig in die Suider-Afrikaanse mark met voldoende voorraad nuwe en herstelde seildoektente, wat ons aan die publiek kan voorsien, sowel as 'n reeks algemene oorskot-weermagitems.
Tans voorsien ons seildoektente en oorskot-weermagitems aan kliënte van die mynwese, bousektor, landbou-, geologie- en diens-industrieë, sowel as aan die noodlenigingsagente.
Tent Pro is buite Pretoria geleë net af van die R21 na Kempton Park in die Irene Rietvleidam area.
