ACUPUNCTURE - Using various acupuncture points on the body, a series of different length needles are inserted for therapeutic effect.
These points enable the free flow of chi / energy through the body treating a host of ailments while encouraging the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
TUI-NA - Using the body’s channels and energy meridians, this original form of massage assists the body in healing itself.
With specific movements and strokes form the practitioner the body’s natural free flow of chi / energy is restored
MOXIBUSTION - is a traditional Chinese Medicine treatment which uses a herb called Mugwort in the form of a “cigar” to heat up certain points on the body.
This heat is used to dispel cold and damp syndromes in the body assisting in the relief of aches, pains, colds and flu as well as digestion issues
BONESETTING - Used to treat physical injuries in the muscular – skeletal system.
The practitioner uses stretching and manipulation to alleviate pain thus balancing the chi / energy and restoring harmony.
Used in conjunction with Acupuncture and Tui-Na Massage it brings back the body’s natural alignment.
Tai Chi & Qi Gong
TAI CHI - Traditionally an ancient Chinese Martial Art Form which encompasses a series of gentle, graceful movements.
The movements are practiced slowly, without impact, are non-strenuous and therefore is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness.
Each movement that is done is related and impacts on the body and mind helping to restore and encourage its functions leading to a healthier body.
QI GONG - Translated as “Energy work”, is an internal style which places great emphasis on breathing techniques and the manipulation of one’s own energy.
The practice is wonderfully calming, yet at the same time it brings an acute awareness into your body.
This awareness that is created allows the body, all its organs, cells and blood to relax and function properly which in turn activates your mind.
