Wonderful Stay

We stayed here for 3 nights on our first trip to South Africa. It was a very suitable choice. Summerhill is a very pleasant and relaxed Guest House with plenty to do. We stayed in one of the cottages in the garden which was clean and quiet and wonderfully welcoming. Staff excellent and very friendly owners. We were very pleased to have been able to experience this wonderful place.

Review by: Robin Sandes - London (stayed: September 2011) I can only express the kindest of words and compliments to the owners and staff at Summerhill.... Not only are the rooms spick and span and fully equipped, but the farm area is fantastic too! A definite must-see for the children are the ducks, peacocks, chickens, pigs, rabbits, horses, goats etc....... The food was tantalizingly fabulous and all needs/ requirements were met without a hassle! Thank you and we look forward to seeing you in March!!!

Welcome to Summerhill Guest Farm, conveniently located and managed by the proprietor and hosts, Bob and Wendy Parris. Wendy and her team will make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

"A friendly welcome, a relaxed home-from-home stay on a grape farm in the mountainous Brandwacht Valley behind Worcester. Choose from 8 fully equipped charmingly decorated units sleeping 1 - 6 people with private entrances and off street parking."

Summerhill is ideal for a family weekend getaway or a business person who would like to wake up in the countryside. Relaxing, peaceful and children-friendly with many farm animals.

Summerhill is 5km from Worcester and 1hour 15min from Cape Town. It is ideally situated for the exploration of the Breede River Valley and Route 62 or for business travelers to Worcester.

All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, air conditioners, fridges, televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. Three of these cosy units are self-catering.

Choose from 5 fully equipped charmingly decorated units sleeping 2 - 5 people with private entrances and off street parking. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, air conditioners and tea and coffee making facilities. Two units are self catering. The guest lounge and dining room which leads on to the pool has a fireplace, satellite television, an honesty bar and a kitchen for tea and coffee. A thatch covered patio is also available for breakfast, lazy days or sundowners. Restaurants within 10 minutes drive.
