Welcome to my little bit of heaven! I am a passionate cross stitcher. I started needle crafts as a youngster & discovered cross stitch as a teen. I fell in love with the craft, but as life happened, my interest wained, especially as I couldn't get any of the wonderful supplies I saw advertised in overseas cross stitch magazines.
A few years ago I was looking in Facebook & in one of the cross stitch groups, someone posted a picture of Mirabilia's Cinderella. I was enchanted! All those beads! That dress! Her beautiful face! I knew I was bored with what was available in South Africa, & I knew I had reached a point where I had to make a decision: either step out & order the chart, the hand dyed fabric, the beads & everything from overseas, or give up cross stitching. So I jumped in & ordered my first Mira. I'm so glad I did!

This has started a love affair with exquisite designs from all over the world and now I want to bring them to South Africa and share my love, and my finds, with my fellow South African stitchers.

Stitchers Den is located in Cape Town but we deliver to anywhere in the country. We supply cross stitch charts, fabrics, needles, scissors, cross stitch designs and patterns. We stock a variety of cottons including stranded cotton and kreinik. We also supply beads for your cross stitch designs as well as other cross stitch and embroidery accessories.
