Steelite Towbar & Silencer Centre, Johannesburg

Had a tow bar fitted to a Cherry Tiggo in September 2016. A removable hitch could not be fitted as requested. Improper fitment caused damage to undercarriage and chassis. Holes were drilled askew. Tow bar fitted off centre and not level.  Workmanship is shoddy with bad questionable welds. Bad knocking whilst towing and was told this is the exhaust which is impossible. Substandard material is used and safety is a major concern. A refund was requested and bluntly refused. Told to bring vehicle back for repair but afraid of further damage to vehicle. Beware like me you may be left with money out of pocket and legal proceedings to follow....

This was the MOST shocking service I've ever received sat outside from 06:30 in the morning was told to be here by 7 they arrive only at 7:45 then get told they have other cars to do first after being told first come first serve. Then more than four hours later arrive back after walking around women alone in Jhb they have done nothing on my car. When annoyed and want answers the office staff scream at you and tell you you are rude for being upset with the horrific service. If this is how they treat their customers I definitely will never recommend them to anyone. What they say and what they do are two very different things.
