Description
Stars Away International Airlines (Pty) Ltd, is an air licensed private Black owned South African based air charter airline established in 2004 for the express purpose of providing a professional, cost effective alternative to the commercial airfreight community for domestic as well as regional consignments.
The company started commercial operations from Cape Town international Airport in April 2005 using a company owned fleet of all cargo Hawker Siddeley 748 freighters on a adhoc and ACMI basis.

During the first year of operation,the company was contracted by the likes of South African Airways to operate schedule routes on their behalf.
Today,Stars Away operates a mix fleet consisting of Hawker Siddely HS-748 ,Douglas DC9 and Douglas DC8 freighters.
