Stale bread

I would like to put this to your attention that I've been buying the srar bread and everytime the bread is always stale. On saturday I bought bread at my nearest shop it was so stale and the exipry date is the 22 of may 2019 I went to Spar again to buy another one and still the bread was not fresh and the expiry date is the same why isa that so. As for me I am not happy with the bread.
