The South African Lifeguard Corporation was founded in 2002 and is a registered Close Corporation whose primary activity is one of Lifeguarding and Water Safety.
Based in Durban and with operations throughout South Africa, SALCO provides professional contract lifeguard services to both the private and local government sector.
Company description
Understanding the needs of specific clients, led SALCO to focus on the Water Park, Hotel and Resort industry and its client base includes Sun International, Holiday Inns, Legacy Hotels, Southern Suns, ATKV Group, Polokwane Municipality, City of Durban, Golden Leopard Group, Tsogo Sun and Durban Marine Theme Parks trading as u’Shaka Island. International clients include the Beachcomber Group in Mauritius and Kerzner International Atlantis in Dubai. The sister company Waterpark Marketing and Management focuses on water park consultancy, water park safety and provision of staff for water parks.
Now in its seventh year of trading, the company is well managed and administered by a team of qualified lifeguards whose background of experience includes local and international certification in lifesaving and water park knowledge.
