Shell, Cape Town

I had the most TERRIBLE experience at this excuse for a petrol station. About 10pm at night, not 200M down the road, my car runs out of petrol, so logically, I search for the nearest petrol station. It happens to be "Bo Kaap" Shell. I walk up the road, of course I don't have a registered petrol container in my Subaru, however, I expect that I can buy a water bottle, ask the attendant to fill it with petrol, PAY HIM/HER, get back to my car, get it running and drive up to fill it properly. However, those staff (never having heard the story of the good Samaritan) utterly refuse to help in any way, shape, or form. Not only that, but they proceed to laugh at me whilst I am in such a terrible predicament. THE NAMES OF THE TWO STAFFING THE SHELL ARE: KEL AND RIYAADH. I HOPE YOU READ THIS AND LEARN A LESSON ABOUT DOING A GOOD DEED FOR SOMEONE. to put it lightly I am so disgusted with their behaviour, has the milk of human kindness really run so dry??? I am considering taking up a case against shell and particular this station.. In South Africa with it's terrible crime rate and violent crime record. Running out of petrol in this manner is a legitimate emergency situation. To be refused a sale of two litres of petrol in this regard is akin to gross negligence/criminal conduct. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO AVOID!!!
