Description
Sharon Mitrie pottery studio.Pottery classes for all ages beginners and advanced, and produce a variety of items such as dinner sets, murals, dishes, bowels, custom made pottery items and much more. My name is Sharon Mitrie. I have been teaching and making pottery for 30 years.It is a great passion of mine and I would like to to share this stimulating craft with others. The setting in which the weekly classes are held is in a plant nursery which adds to the escape of the pottery classes.I teach all levels from beginners to advanced to the blind.

Some of the techniques one would be able to do are hand work, wheel work, sculpture, painting on ready made products, putting your children's hand prints and footprints onto a ceramic plaque and anything else you could imagine. Doing pottery benefits a number of things from stress relief to motor-skills development and just to clear the mind of everyday hassles.
Additionally I offer kiddies parties, kitchen teas and adult workshops as well as weekly pottery classes.I specialize in custom made murals, dinner sets, tea sets, large platters, wash basins and matching an item that has been broken.
