Selly Park Secondary School, Rustenburg

As an educator at the above mentioned school I wish to inform the "on behalf of" individual that your child is playing with his/her own future. Please do yourself the favour to come and teach your dear child and then see how we as educators must endure children with no sense of value, self respect and a feel for diligent duty towards him/herself. Homework is more than often not done :- Incompetent parents who expect educators to fulfil the roles of both teacher and parent as they are too busy to see to the parental needs of their own children. Mrs Lowe is absolutely the professional individual she claims to be. The learners at Selly Park Secondary School are priority number one in all respects!!!!! Familiarise yourself with the true facts about the above mentioned scenario before you point fingers in any direction. I would advise you to start looking in your own back yard!!!!!

On behalf of several extremely unhappy and upset parents - Selly Park Secondary everything BUT the outstanding school the principal Mrs Lowe makes it out to be. It is a private school and cost per learner significantly higher (app 3X that of a gov school), but in return you would expect individual attention and top class educators, right? Wrong! - She cares more about complying to the EEBB requirements and her own reputation than about the childrens' education or future. Proof is the incompetent teachers employed spesifically in the Physics and Mathematics departments. Whilst paying rediculously high school fees, additional fees for private extra classes in these jubjects (plus travelling expenses) are a must for a child (and that's an above average child) just to understand and pass these subjects! When confronted, all concerns are denied and parents are told that the teachers employed are the best. They are playing with our childrens' future and denying them university entry where requirement usually are a 6 or 7 in the NSC. Beware!!!!
