Description
Saldhana Bay is also adjacent to the 16 km Langebaan Lagoon and includes the islands; Marcus, Schaapen, Malgas and Jutten. Langebaan Lagoon is classified as a wetland of international importance and hosts a variety of fauna, flora and game species, in the spring it reveals its one unique display of wild flowers. The Islands are home to the cape seal and numerous birds; gannets, oyster catches, cormorants, gulls and penguins.
Company description
The school is based on the waters edge. The “Divers House” overlooks the bay with its own entertainment area and pub – the “Hard Hat”.
The school is adjacent to the "divers house" and comprises of two large classrooms (fully equipped with audio visual equipment).
Office, locker room, shower room, air store, equipment store, decompression chamber room, boathouse, workshop as well as a large outside training area and jetty.
Although most of the students attending our school to date have found work in the diamond diving industry, the objective of the school is to train divers who will eventually work in the offshore diving industry.
