Scaff Training School, COTSWOL

We do practical as well as theory training. Explain every aspect of scaffolding to the last details. We use pictures and slides to explain. We do classes of up to 15 candidates to insure everybody partakes and understandings all the procedures. Manuals are also provided and explained how to use it. Inspectors are taken to a current job in/around town to physically show them how to look for mistakes and how to correct them via the proper procedures. We pride ourselves in training properly as I am extremely passionate about scaffolding. Working at heights training runs paralel with scaffolding. All tradesmen work off the ground in most cases - necessary for them to be trained properly. Helps with the safety factor.
The following factors we take very seriously - mission statement, background & history, competency, philosophy, services and of course training. We offer scaffold training courses and modules which can be customized to meet the specific training requirements of organisations and individuals. Furthermore we train Pdi's with lower educational levels and mentor them afterwards until they are competent to move to the next level. With shutdowns workforces grow to 400%. Then casuals are used which leaves the client in a vulnerable position. By using trained employees and whom have been declared medically fit to work at heights, and whom are deemed competent must surely create productivity and give the client 'peace of mind' towards safety. We have trained a large group of DEPT OF LABOUR staff members to police the industry which in the long run should pay off.
