Located a short distance from Himeville and Underberg and half way up the Sani Pass, Sani valley is a private game lodge in the Southern Drakensberg. It is the only private game lodge in the Natal Southern Drakensberg and has some of the most sought after "wild trout" fishing in the entire Drakensberg region. Sani Valley Lodge is a unique blend of nature, activity and luxury accommodation (a mix between an upmarket Bed & Breakfast and Guest House or Hotel). Overlooking a 260 acre lake at the foot of the spectacular Drakensberg Sani Pass, Sani Valley Lodge offers you total privacy, refinement, tranquility and an extensive range of exciting activities. The accommodation includes full private kitchens, lounges and dinner tables allowing you to chose to cook your own meals and have someone clean and wash, or select special dishes from our menu which will be brought to your lodge on your request. (Menu's are emailed to guests prior to their arrival and guests must make their selection via email prior to their arrival). This new luxury full or semi-catering accommodation concept gives you a private and highly personal experience with unobtrusive lodge services. You are left to relax in your exclusive private home which is serviced daily. All the lodges offer a spacious and open lounge/dining room/fully equipped kitchen. Whether in your bedroom or in the lounge, you simply have to step out through the large sliding door onto the private verandah to get a panoramic view of the lake and the spectacular Drakensberg mountains. In winter you will particularly enjoy the comfort of a cosy fireplace in the lounge, electric blankets, overhead heating along with heated towel rails in the bathrooms. Yet, despite all this comfort Sani Valley retains a true and relax country atmosphere. With total privacy in mind, every lodge has been individually decorated. Luxury fabric crisp hand embroidered, cotton linen, hand-painted lithographs and marble finishes are just a few of the details that complement the beauty and the tranquility of the area. There are 4 different accommodation set-ups to suite your specific needs: Rainbow Lodge: Largest chalet available at Sani Valley. It has 3 luxurious en-suite bedrooms that can accommodate up to six people comfortably. This unit is truly a luxury home away from home. Foreign language description
Sani boasts a small conference facility right on the water's edge with a view to die for. The facility caters for up to 20 people and includes the usual facilities such as a projector screen, boardroom tables and chairs. This is ideal for corporate get-aways and team building sessions.
