Description
The Heidelberg SPCA is situated in 1 Retief Street, Heidelberg, Gauteng. Our mission is helping abandoned, abused and unwanted animals and assisting animals in distress. Every living creature has intrinsic value and is a sentient being and we endeavour to promote animal welfare in specific situations and strive to bring about new respect to all living creatures. To treat all living creatures with compassion and respect, ensuring their safety and welfare. We strive to educate the community, to create awareness and encourage involvement in animal welfare and above all, to prevent cruelty, suffering and neglect, to rescue and assist animals in distress, to provide safety, comfort and relieve pain.
