Airlink Cargo International (Pty) Limited is a dedicated cargo ground handling company.
Airlink Cargo has two trading divisions: domestic, which provides cargo services for Airlink (4Z), and the international ground handling division providing services for Martinair Cargo (MP), Jet Airways (9W), Swaziland Airlink (4Z), Airlink and other special charters (on request).
The company occupies over 2, 000m² of warehouse and office space at OR Tambo International Airport. Airlink Cargo operates additional handling facilities at Durban's King Shaka International Airport and Cape Town International Airport.

Company description
Each week, Airlink Cargo processes over 70 international flights at OR Tambo International Airport and handles over 600 tons of cargo through our customs controlled warehouses. Services include acceptance of cargo, data capture of air waybill details, manifesting, loading/building of pallets or loading containers, and supervision of loading at the aircraft.
Airlink Cargo has a cold room (always 2 degrees celsius), two certified scales - one with the capacity of over 6 tons, as well as dedicated computer connections to SAA (for domestic cargo of Airlink), SITA, Compu-Clearing, Cargospot and to the internet. The company has a 40-camera CCTV system in operation 24 hours a day, as well as in-house security guards and a radio-linked armed response contractor.
All members of staff are trained in the handling of dangerous goods and certified on the equipment they use and the cargo they handle.
Airlink Cargo has an empowerment policy, which is being implemented at a steady pace. Previously disadvantaged employees are given every opportunity to progress through training and work-related experience.
