Rudi Nieuwoudt, the founder of RUANSA HSE Consultancy and Property Inspection Services has spent the last 21 years refining his skills in the health, safety and environmental sector. Starting as a Jnr fireman in 1996 and then moving to the emergency medical services where he spent 8 years as an intermediate life support paramedic working for both the government and private sectors. In 2005 Rudi made the transition to the construction safety management arena where he worked in the petrochemical and oil & gas sectors in both Africa and Europe. Rudi is a registered member with the Health Professions council of South Africa (HPCSA), The South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) and also The South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Saiosh).
