Visit the Durban offices and everyone is on tea or lunch. Have no compassion for the public and yet these people are there because injured in accidents. Is there no proper management in place. Sometimes one has to wait forever to get feedback.

I have been given the run around for many years and been to the RAF offices in Durban 12th Floor Embassy Building. Mr Phillip Dlamini and Mr Masakane Gebuze have been promising to get back to me forever. I have a section 17 undertaking and this has left me with such large medical expenses that I'm depressed. Who can help me? When I call or visit offices they always have the same excuses.

The RAF is a juristic person established by an Act of Parliament, namely, the Road Accident Fund Act, 1996 (Act No. 56 of 1996) as amended (”RAF Act”). It commenced operations on 1 May 1997, assuming at the time, all the rights, obligations, assets and liabilities of the Multilateral Motor Vehicle Accidents Fund.
