Description
Identification of gifted children (from the age of 3 years). Is your child highly alert, curious, perfectionistic, sensitive or a fast learner? Does your child reason well, have interesting ideas or easily become bored at school? Your child may be gifted. Have your child assessed. IQ tests offered for pre-schoolers (age 3 - 7), children (age 7 - 17), as well as for adults. Raising a gifted child can be VERY challenging! Parental guidance also provided.

Some CHARACTERISTICS of gifted children include: reasons well, learns rapidly, has extensive vocabulary, has an excellent memory, Has a long attention span (if interested), sensitive (feelings hurt easily), shows compassion, perfectionistic, very curious, high degree of energy, prefers company of older children or adults, great sense of humor, early or avid reader, keen observer, vivid imagination, highly creative, tends to question authority. As with any condition, EARLY IDENTIFICATION is very important. This is done by means of psychological profiling, as well as IQ assessment. The IQ test we use for the pre-schoolers (age 3 - 7) also provides the mental age the child is functioning at on each of the 12 sub-tests assessed. IQ tests for children 7 - 17 years, as well as for adults are also available.
Raising a gifted child can be a daunting task and parents could feel quite overwhelmed. PARENTAL GUIDANCE is provided to assist parents with the challenge of raising a gifted child.
