Description
Refugee Social Services is a South African Not for Profit organization and was registered in June 2008. Prior to this time the organization was a project of the Mennonite Central Committee and was known as MCC: Refugee Project. Refugee Social Services is a social implementing partner of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
Company description
We assist Asylum seekers and refugees who are in possession of legitimate documentation from the South African Department of Home Affairs.
Clients are required to attend an orientation session. They will then be booked for a screening interview .Those that require ongoing services are then referred to social workers who work together with the individual or family to provide a range of psycho-social and integration support.
We focus on the most vulnerable within the community.
