Port of Call is nestled in the mountain fynbos, on the edge of the Table Mountain National Park, and offers two luxurious studio apartments both with breathtaking panoramic sea and mountain views.Situated high on the slopes of the Simonsberg, Port of Call overlooks secluded beaches with views that stretch across False Bay from Muizenberg to Cape Hangklip, all framed by the distant Hottentots Holland mountains. For early risers, dramatic sunrises over False Bay are the reward and for those fortunate enough to have reservations over full moon. The moon rising over the distant mountains with the moonglow across the sea is a sight to be cherished. Safe swimming and sandy beaches are within a 10 minute walk. Also within walking distance is Boulders Beach with its Penguin colony and the Golf course.
The Admirals Suite The Admirals Suite (50m²) offers a beautifully appointed spacious bedroom with twin beds, comfortable easy chairs and full DSTV. The en-suite bathroom has both shower and bath. Access to the dining area, enclosed with floor to ceiling sliding doors, is through plantation shutter doors and contains a small but well equipped kitchenette with microwave, dining table, fridge, electric frying pan and utensils. A patio with table and chairs, accessed from the bedroom completes the apartment. The Captains Cabin The Captains cabin (45m²) furnished to a similar high standard, offers a double King Size bed, DSTV, plus an air conditioner. The en-suite bathroom has a shower. The dining area is similarly equipped, is accessed through plantation shutter doors and has an adjacent private patio. Please note this is a non smoking establishment. Port of Call offers flexibility in choice of breakfast. Either a full English breakfast or self served continental breakfast in the privacy of your own apartment. Situated on the Eastern side of the Cape Peninsula, Simon¿s Town is ideally positioned to explore Cape Town and its surrounds from Cape Point to the Winelands and a number of golf courses.
Historic Simons Town offers safe sheltered bathing beaches on the warm water side of the Peninsula as well as a variety of reasonably priced restaurants, art galleries, museums and Coffee shops. World class local attractions include: Other available activities include: Whale watching; Simon¿s Town is visited by the Southern Right, Brydes and Humpback Whales.
