I am UK trained Guild Commended Picture Framer. My Framing Training Courses follow the syllabus of the Guild Commended Framer Qualification.
I offer a full range of professional picture framing training courses for complete novices through to advanced level.
The Business Development Week is the "Flagship" of Framing Training. It moves people from being complete framing novices to starting up a bespoke framing service from home or business premises. The full program consists of eight, 1-day sessions. Each day represents a complete workshop or course, which can be booked separately or in any combination.
You can mix and match the courses below to suit your level of experience. Each course is a 1-day course running from 9am - 4pm. Courses are supported with full notes. Courses: Basics of Framing, Mountcutting and Design, 3D Framing, Conservation framing, Fabric framing, Sport shirt framing, Canvas stretching, Advanced mountcutting.

Whether you are taking up Picture Framing as your main occupation or as a paying hobby, it is important to understand that the materials and techniques you use will affect the work you are framing. They matter. Training to develop your skills and knowledge is an important investment. Continuous learning keeps a framer abreast of important developments in the industry. As a Guild Commended Framer, I have been working alongside framers with high levels of experience in the UK, where I've learned valuable hints and insight to pass on.
