Being passionate about photography Ken has realized that passion is a Full Time Commitment which is why Ken went full time and dedicates his life to photography and not to be a “passionate” HOBBY or FREELANCE photographer that call themselves leaders in the industry. Spending enough time online, I’m sure you’ll notice the number of wedding and portrait photographers has increased exponentially because of the affordability of digital SLRs, the relatively-easy learning curve of photoshop. What this has done is enable some “photography enthusiasts or hobbyists” to make a some extra income shooting weddings etc. on their weekends. In our current economy, this is not a bad thing although your wedding photos can only be done once which is why Ken suggests using a Full Time Professional Photographer that has time to spend quality time on your photos. Whereby Hobby and Freelance photographers has other commitments . Not surprisingly many professional wedding photographers are complaining that they can’t compete against the “wanna-be’s” who are charging minimal fee and giving all the digital files or negatives away as well just to clinch the deal, The truth is, this is a business. The more successful photographers aren’t necessarily the best photographers. It’s after all a perceived value..
