PerformHer Academy, Cape Town

Rose Murdock founded Performher in 2014 after a 26-year career at Ogilvy & Mather. As National Business Director and Board Director, she interacted across the company and led multi-disciplinary teams on a portfolio of famous brand clients. Seeing competent women being passed over for promotion because they lacked self-confidence inspired her to start the Performher Academy.

Rose is accredited as a Life Coach by the Graduate School of Business and as a facilitator by Impact Factory in London, with courses completed in EQ, Interpersonal Skills, and Leadership Skills Training at the Graduate School of Business and the Gordon Institute of Business Science. She is a motivational speaker, is skilled in etiquette and business etiquette, and is interested in business coaching.

She has joined the global conversation on the role of women in the workplace amplified by Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook, who started the Lean In Organization to encourage women to pursue their ambitions, and to change the conversation from what we can’t do to what we can do.
