Pattern to Rail is a clothing manufacturing and pattern making studio led by fashion designer and pattern maker Marianne Schnell. With nearly two decades of hands-on experience, Pattern to Rail offers a reliable, in-house process that takes garments from initial pattern drafting through to finished, store-ready production.
The studio specialises in woven fabrics, including linen, cotton, rayon, viscose, silk, chiffon, flannel, and denim. Services include master pattern drafting, sample making, fittings, pattern grading, cutting, garment manufacturing, quality control, and finishing.
Having run her own fashion label for 17 years, Marianne brings practical manufacturing knowledge, strong attention to detail, and a clear understanding of production timelines. Pattern to Rail works with a small, highly experienced team of seamstresses and partners with fashion brands and companies producing 50 units and up, delivering quality workmanship, consistency, and dependable turnaround times.
