Ottimo Pizzan and Pasta Take Away, Johannesburg

had dinner.received call-parents been in accident was a bit short with waiter not rude. manager swore me.told me to leave never come again and implied to hit me if i dont get out asap. BAD !

Just recently 'discovered' this little pizzeria in Queen street. Very impressed with the service & quality... Going back tonight!

So disappointed. Been going to Ottimo's for 15 plus years, best Pizza in Johannesburg. Tonight my wife found a long black hair in her pizza. I let the waitress know but we were still charged for it. So I spoke to Marco. No sorry, no apology, no concern from him. No, Marco just challenged me, 'Was it my hair?" I just blinked at him, said I didn't know, but it was baked into the cheese of the pizza. He then tore up the bill, and very rudely told me not to worry about it. I told him I wasn't looking for a freebie, let me pay for the rest of the food or at very least the wine we had drunk. Again he rudely told me not to worry about it and went back to spreading tomato paste on pizza bases. So, why should I feel uncomfortable and bad because of him serving up hairy pizza? Just very disappointed.

Great Italian Cooking, very homely and pleasant to eat there. Also the best pizza I ever eaten.
