Orca House, Plettenberg Bay

This unique African Beach House has a charming character and is a nature lover¿s haven. There are four spacious bedrooms, two with lovely sea views and two that overlook the enveloping indigenous bush. Of the four bathrooms one has a separate shower, bath wc and basin and the other has a wc, basin and bath with shower. The living area is huge and the volume of the home encompasses different living areas to totally relax and take in the natural surrounds. The open plan kitchen and dining area lead into the main lounge downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave and all kitchen equipment, cutlery and crockery. The main lounge has a cosy fireplace for those chilly evenings and is fully equipped with DSTV, DVD, Music system and TV. This lounge area leads onto a covered outdoor entertaining area with a lovely large dining table and braai. The garden area has a path with direct access to the beautiful Keurbooms Beach. The Keurbooms beach stretches for kilometers of unspoilt natural beauty and is ideal for long walks and long beach days (the home has beach equipment for your convenience). Upstairs are two indoor lounge areas with sliding doors leading onto the outdoor decks - one sea facing and the other facing the Fynbos which is a great suntrap. From the sea facing deck you can spot whales and dolphins and have a stunning view of the bay. Seven different marine mammals visit the bay and Orca House has the ideal location to observe these magnificent mammals in their natural environment. The owner Dave Rissik has a passion for marine mammals and there is a feast of books on the subject for your enjoyment. On the side of the home is an outdoor shower, and hidden amongst the indigenous forest is a protected private swimming pool and deck ¿ pure bliss.
