Description
orangewood Lodge is situated at the entrance to Khayalami Bay on the banks of Albert Falls Dam, just outside Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal. The Lodge is nestled in a large indigenous garden with an abundance of birdlife and is surrounded by orange groves which form part of an operating citrus farm.
Come and enjoy the tranquility of this secluded hideaway, relaxing on the hammock while listening to the call of the fish eagle flying overhead. The perfect getaway for family and friends who have a love for nature and watersports.

We offer upmarket self catering accommodation for up to 10 people.
Albert Falls dam is the major attraction where water skiing, fishing, canoeing, birding, game viewing and walking are offered. Mountain biking is also a popular weekend sport. We have a wonderful picnic facility, shaded by large trees where you can spend a restful afternoon. There is ample parking available.
The double volume open plan lounge and dining room has wooden floors and there is a large fireplace in the lounge. Concertina doors open up onto the large verandah where there is ample seating to take in the stunning panoramic views.
The pub also leads onto the verandah and outside braai facility. The pub has a TV and bar fridge. A weber is also provided.
