The organisation was established in 1951 in respond to a need identified by a Mrs. Hesse for rendering services to persons with disabilities.

North North West Care for persons with disabilities is a charity organization, working from their home base, Spes Bona, in Rustenburg.
Spes Bona is a place of hope for those who seem to have lost all.
Spes Bona nestles snugly against the backdrop of the Magaliesberge in the beautiful city of Rustenburg, North West Province, South Africa.
At Spes Bona we have day care services, we give training for day care mothers and we do temporary care for persons who need to be temporarily sheltered.
