The North Coast Courier (established 1985) is a free weekly community newspaper serving the fast-growing Dolphin Coast region immediately north of Durban.

Distribution of 30 000 copies a week, average 36 pages. Based in the holiday town of Ballito, the Courier is the medium of choice for retail and legal advertising throughout the Ilembe district municipal region. There are regular supplements on education, motoring, agriculture, health, home improvements etc. and a variety of packages for advertorial promotions. The North Coast Courier also publishes the monthly Getit Ballito to Umhlanga magazine and the annual North Coast Fastfinder.
