Nippon Judo Club Gauteng - South Africa. Based in Kempton Park on the East Rand, Gauteng.
Judo is a system of self defence that has developed into an exciting Olympic Sport. Judo was founded in 1882 in Japan by Professor Jigoro Kano, who envisioned it as a way of becoming physically and mentally fit.
It is designed so that it can be practiced by all ages…both male and female.

Judo is ‘n olimpiese sportsoort en daar bestaan slegs een styl regoor die wêreld. In judo sal jy leer om jouself te verdedig.
Judo is pret maar verbeter ook selfbeheersing (dissipline) en is die ideale terapie vir Kinders met leerprobleme. Judo is geskik vir seuns en dogters van alle Ouderdomme, groottes en vorme en hou geen verband met satanisme of oosterse godsdiens nie.
Nb! Dit is wetenskaplik bewys dat judoka uitstyg in ander sportsoorte as gevolg van die verskeidenheid van spiergroepe wat ontwikkel word deur die beoefening van judo !!!
Die afrigter is Dirk Crafford hy was ‘n nasionale speler en internasionale skeidsregter. Dirk rig reeds twintig jaar judo af by skole.
