Newcastle School of Industries with its added reform unit provides incoming youth with new opportunities and a totally different environment within which they can develop and prove their individual worth. Our children receive loving and pastoral care on their arrival. We aim to create a homely environment for the boys with the hope that they would transform their attitudes to one of positivity and change. We operate on the principle of direct supervision where our youth are constantly under adult supervision from care officers, social workers, house mothers and house fathers, the nurse, psychologist and teaching staff. All staff members uphold our core values of co-operation, responsibility and respect which we hope our boys will emulate from us.
