Our recent visit to this medical facility left us not only dissatisfied but deeply disgusted by the unprofessional behavior of one of Dr. CL Nel. My wife and I arrived at the doctor's office with our daughter for a routine check-up, expecting to receive the care and respect any patient deserves. However, what we encountered was nothing short of disgraceful. As my wife suffers from epilepsy, a condition that is well-documented in her medical records, she cannot drive herself to appointments. This fact should be understood and respected by any medical professional worth their salt. To our shock and dismay, the doctor we were scheduled to see had the audacity to make a snide comment about why both my wife and I were present for our daughter's appointment. Apparently, in this doctor's twisted worldview, it was inconceivable that both parents might want to be involved in their child's healthcare. Furthermore, he had the nerve to insinuate that the reason for our joint presence was because neither of us could "book off from work." Let me be clear: My wife's inability to drive due to her medical condition is not something to be scoffed at or used as fodder for baseless assumptions about our priorities or employment status. It is downright insensitive and unprofessional for any medical practitioner to pass such judgment, especially without any understanding of the circumstances. As a family, we prioritize our daughter's health above all else, and that includes making the necessary arrangements to ensure she receives proper medical care. It is disgraceful that we were made to feel guilty or ashamed for simply fulfilling our parental responsibilities. I demand an immediate apology from the management of Dr. CL Nel offices for subjecting us to such disrespectful treatment. No patient should ever have to endure the disdainful attitude displayed by this doctor. Until this matter is addressed with the seriousness it deserves, I cannot in good conscience recommend this doctor's office to anyone seeking compassionate and respectful healthcare. In conclusion, if you value dignity, empathy, and professionalism in your medical care, steer clear of Dr. CL Nel offices. They have demonstrated a shocking lack of regard for their patients' well-being and deserve nothing but condemnation for their reprehensible behavior.
