MTN Store - Baywest Mall, Gqeberha

Got the starter home internet from MTN Baywest in September 2024. Worked fine. Around 23 December it stopped working. After calling customer care and the coverage line numerous times and they eventually suggested that I go to the MTN store to reset or reregister the Sim Card. On 28 December (living out on a farm) I Baywest MTN (where I took out the deal) and asked them what is going on. On arrival Bonnie was at the counter and as I explained to her (in dribs and drabs what the fault is she reported it to whoever that was in the Kitchen (?) at the back. So it went up and down for quite a few minutes till someone out of the back appeared to help (not in the mood at all) no name plate on. Then suddenly they said the sim they gave me was magically not RiCA'd anymore (so how did it work from September till almost end Dec??). Then they did it over again and the router still did not seem to work. And whoever that was helping Bonnie had such long false nails, I eventually offered to put the Sim Card correctly into the router as she (nameless) was struggling to do so with her false long nails - she also inserted the sim facing the wrong way into the router and I really hope that, that didn't cause the pins inside to damage! All of them where on their phones and I kept on asking what seems to be the problem, is it RICA'd now, what is the system showing, why is it not showing the router on my phone, a lot of questions and they just ignored it and continued doing whatever they were doing on their phones. An elder lady also appeared without any success as well as a man named Guy. He was at least a bit more helpful by telling us they are just a sales store and didn't get any technical training thus they cannot (as I asked) put the Sim Card in another router to see if the fault is at the router or the sim card. They are apparently also not provided any router to test Sim Cards like that. They told me to leave my sim card and router there to be sent in to Midrand. Asked them for some sort of reference so that I know it's sent in and when. The person who worked with it wasn't there so they took my details and said they'll call me on Monday. Monday came, no call, I left it till after new years then I called them on the 3rd of January 2025 and whoever answered said she will call me back, she (Vanessa) never did. So I called again, Bonnie answered. Till today I am waiting for her to also call me back!? This is pathetic!!! I am sitting without internet at home, thought it was a good idea to cancel my home internet of 6 years with another provider, when I took this internet with MTN out, now I'm sitting without internet and still paying MTN for what???!!!! AND I've to pay daily bundles now just to have internet! They are so uneducated at that store! Even told me at first it's because I only have 25GBS of data left that it's not working!!!! Excuse the grammer and typing faults, I'm Afrikaans and furious!!!
