Morkels was established in 1937 by Phil Morkel in Cape Town. We launched our legendary Two Year Guarantee in 1976 to coincide with the nationwide launch of television in South Africa, and we have maintained our quality promise ever since!
In April 2003, Morkels joined the JD Group as a result of JD’s acquisition of Profurn.

It is supported by an undertaking from our suppliers to provide free repairs and, if necessary, replacement of the product for a period of two years from the date of purchase.
