Company description
Modac was established in September 1985 to supply the local market with a cost effective, quality Connectivity Solution, enhanced by an exceptionally high level of support for both connectivity products and their environment. Modac has a turnkey division specialising in computer site installations. This division offers a range of services including consultation, design (Approved Data-Centre Designer), planning (construction), installation and the commissioning of the complete Data Centre environment. Our many years experience and expertise covers Raised Access flooring (specialized), Air-conditioning, Power Protection (Uninterrupted Power Supply - UPS) and backup power Generators, Fire Detection and Protection, Security Access Control (Biometrics), Environmental Monitoring and Remote control thereof. The Biometrics encompasses both finger and facial for access control including T&A direct into payroll if required. It can run standalone or is fully networkable and can integrate into existing networks over IP. There is also 3D facial recognition systems for access and overlay software onto existing or new CCTV systems. A full hand palm scanner exists as well.
