Company description
MMX IT Services is an ICT company based in Durbanville, Cape Town, established on 3 February 2009 by Jacques Laubscher, an IT and electronics engineer. Registered as MMX IT Services CC.
We service, support and repair notebooks and desktop computers, including Apple MacBooks and iMacs, and we carry spare parts for most machines so a repair does not mean waiting weeks for a component. We install and maintain Windows and Linux servers, and we design, install and maintain wired and wireless networks, including wireless links and the coverage problems others could not solve.
We also supply equipment: computers, printers, software, monitors, network hardware, spare parts and custom-built PCs, all tested before delivery or collection.
We work with businesses and with individuals. Companies are usually looking after under an ongoing service level agreement with regular maintenance; home users more often need a once-off repair or an honest opinion on whether a machine is worth fixing.
Our approach is preventative. Most IT companies are paid when something breaks, and we would rather examine your hardware and software properly once, fix what is fragile, and keep it that way. That is why our clients tend to stay for years.
On-site work covers Durbanville, greater Cape Town, the Southern Suburbs and the Boland. Remote support is available wherever you are.
